Video: Wilhelmina’s arrangement for History in Bloom

In spite of the storm on Saturday, History In Bloom at the Concord Museum will be on view for the weekend. Eight floral artists (many happen to be Garden Club members) were invited to create beautiful arrangements to accompany paintings and objects from the collection, and all will still be on display in the Lyceum on Sunday. Breathless reviews from Friday urge us all to see it in person. While you wait for snow to subside, the gift of a preview comes from Wilhelmina van den Wansem who has graciously agreed to video her process for her assignment, John Wesson’s 1840 painting of “The Old Middlesex Hotel”.
