Town Garden News!
SUBJECT — Town Garden News & Volunteers needed
NEWS
As you likely know, we’ve removed the West Concord garden (all plants sold at the Plant Sale) to make way for the Bruce Freeman rail trail, so are only maintaining the Town House garden this summer.
There we’ve added a lovely new rose, Polar Express, to the left bed.
Thanks to Jane Rupley for her recommendation.
It’s still tiny, but will grow to look like this —
Thanks also to Cris Van Dyke and Dorris Kehoe who, along with us divided and moved grasses, nepeta and day lilies over the last few weeks. Thanks Cris and Mary Ann Ferrell for donating some of their own Shasta daisies to revitalize that plant, and for Jane Rupley’s donation of phlox. And thanks to all the volunteers who tend the gardens through the summer!
