History in Bloom at the Concord Museum
Last weekend’s History in Bloom at the Concord Museum was abbreviated by a record snowstorm, so you can forgive yourself if you missed the elegant display. Now that the Museum’s show has concluded, I wanted to use the blog to show off the contributions made by seven of our skilled Garden Club members. The photos that follow were generously provided by Kate Wharton, Mary Pope, Jeanne Hamilton, and Lauren Huyett. Thank you, all.
Joan Campbell: Portrait of John Thoreau, Jr. by Sophia Thoreau
Kate Wharton: Lady’s Shoes from the April 19, 1775 Gallery
Mary Pope: Into the Woods by Loring W. Coleman
Pam Nelson: Marion Hudson, by Marcia Oakes Woodbury
Jeanne Hamilton: A View of the Town of Concord, April 19, 1775, attrib. to Timothy Martin Minot
Erika Rodriguez: King Ahasuerus and Queen Esther needlework by Rebeckah Wheeler
Wilhelmina van der Wansem: The Old Middlesex Hotel by John Wesson
