To Members of The Garden Club of Concord:
The following by-law change will be voted on at the October 21, 2015 Garden Club of Concord meeting at Trinitarian Congregational Church, 54 Walden Street, Concord.
Article III – Membership
- New Members
- Each candidate must be proposed by a member of the Club who may not be on the Executive Board of Directors and seconded by two other club members.
Also the following new changes will be made to the Information for Sponsors.
- Find two co-sponsors who know the candidate and are willing to write a letter on the candidate’s behalf, covering points “b” through “c” listed under section number “8” above. Current Executive Board members may not sponsor a new member, but may second a candidate. Current Board members may sponsor a new member and second a candidate.
